After a postponement of a week due to potential severe weather, the Troop held its Orienteering overnight at Westchester-Putnam Council's Durland Scout Reservation. The turnout was disappointing and was certainly influenced by the rescheduling. Those that did attend were treated to a spectacular Fall weekend in the Hudson River Valley. All scouts completed the orienteering course at the camp and a camp service project. Austin A. and Thad F. earned the Outdoorsman segment. The photos for this event are more than a bit blurry and murky. They were taken in very low resolution on a cell phone. We did the best we could with them. A short note about names - Scouts under the age of eighteen are identified only by their first name and last initial. In the interest of archiving, we will attempt, if possible, to go back and enter full names as these individuals turn 18. |
